Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of Lazybooks. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use Lazybooks lawfully and not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in unauthorised ways.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans (Standard, Plus, and Enterprise) are billed monthly. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Billing on iOS

On the iOS app, subscriptions are sold via Apple In-App Purchase and managed through your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. To cancel or change your iOS plan, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. iOS refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy. The iOS app does not currently include a free trial.

5. Billing on the web

On lazybooks.co.uk, subscriptions are sold and billed by Lazybooks Ltd via Stripe. New web subscribers start with a 3-day free trial — no payment is taken until the trial ends, and you can cancel at any time during the trial from your account billing portal.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you put into Lazybooks. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that data in order to provide the service.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Lazybooks available, but the service is provided on an 'as is' basis. We may update features or these terms from time to time, and will notify you of material changes.
